Washington Mutual

Washington Mutual will commit $375 billion to low- to moderate-income communities over a ten-year period beginning in 2002. In light of a strong track record of community support and intent to combine with like-minded institutions, Washington Mutual is proud to be able to make such a significant pledge.

Washington Mutual invests in programs that build new housing, refurbish existing housing and revitalize neighborhoods. They give millions of dollars each year to make long-term, safe, accessible and affordable housing available for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. Washington Mutual work closely with LISC and hundreds of other nonprofits that develop affordable housing.
